PhosNet group at PIC 2017

Dr. Dimitris Tsiokos will give an invited talk at PIC 2017 that will be held during 7-8 March in Brussels, Belgium. The title of the talk will be "CMOS compatible plasmo-photonics for mass-manufactured, powerful PICs".

Ms. Theoni Alexoudi will give an invited talk at ICTON 2015 that will be held during 5-9 July in Budapest, Hungary. The title of the talk will be "WDM-enabled Optical RAM and Optical Cache memory architectures for Chip Multiprocessors"

alexoudi.240Dr. Alexoudi was born in 1986 in Kavala, Greece. She received her Bachelor (BSc) degree in Applied Informatics from University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki, Greece in 2008 and her Master (MSc) degree in Networks, Communication and Systems Architecture from the Department of Informatics of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2010.Since 2010, Dr. Alexoudi has been working as a research assistantat Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH/ITI) and as a PhD student at the Photonic Systems and Networks (PhosNET) Research Group. She has participated in several European research projects such as PLATON, RAMPLAS and PhoxTroT.

In October 2015, she received her PhD degree in Optical Communications and Photonic Systems from the Department of Informatics of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. During her PhD studies,Dr. Alexoudi received the Excellence Grant for PhD studentsby Research Committee of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2014).

Her researchwork hasfocused onWDM-enabled optical RAM architectures andWDM-enabled all-passive optical memory peripherals circuitsfor future high-speed and low-power optical CPU-memory interconnection implementations.

Dr. Alexoudi is currently a Marie-Curie fellow in FP7 MC-IAPP project COMANDER collaborating with Phoenix Software in Enschede, the Netherlands.
